Patrick Wolf

Union Chapel, N1 2UN , [Venue Details]

Commentating on the Union Chapel performance Patrick Wolf says: “‘The Last Sheaf’ will be the final UK concert of the Crying The Neck period of my work and the first time the complete string arrangements I wrote for the album will be performed live.

Friday,
27 Mar 2026
Doors open @7.00pm

For this album finale performance, my fifth time playing at the Union Chapel, I will also be composing new arrangements of songs from my back catalogue that have shown themselves as siblings of my seventh album over the past few months of touring, while the duets on the album will be honoured with some truly special guest appearances on the night.”

Acclaim for Crying The Neck:

“Beautiful... The album swings between the tender and the bruised throughout, with Wolf’s voice going from a whisper to a soar,

all resulting in a most welcome return for this most singular artist.” Uncut – 8/10

“Breathtaking... A song cycle drawing a line between Rufus Wainwright maximalism and The Waterboys.” MOJO – 4 stars ****
